Tag people in photos and find all photos of a specific person.
The People tab is your hub for managing contacts, Kizu connections, circles, and friend requests. It has five sub-tabs.
Contacts
All your contacts in one searchable list. Tap any contact to see their detail view:
Profile photo, name, phone numbers, and email addresses
Photos & videos shared with or tagged of this person
Location display (when location sharing is enabled)
Custom notification sound per contact
Invite to Kizu button for contacts not yet on the app (via SMS or email)
Friendship actions (add friend, unfriend)
Kizus
Your active Kizu connections — direct one-on-one links with the people who matter most. Each Kizu gives you:
A private chat conversation
A shared photo album (automatically created)
Timeline update sharing
Location sharing (when enabled)
Creating a Kizu Connection
Go to People > Kizus tab
Tap the + button
Enter a phone number or email address, or select from your contacts
The recipient receives an invite via SMS or email
When they accept, you're connected with a private chat and shared album
Circles
View all your circles with member counts. Tap a circle to see its detail view with albums, chats, calendar, and members.
Requests
Manage incoming and outgoing Kizu requests:
Incoming — Accept or decline Kizu requests from others
Outgoing — See the status of requests you've sent
Blocked
View and manage blocked users. Tap Unblock to restore a connection.
Adding Contacts
You can add contacts in several ways:
Import from phone — sync contacts from your device's address book
Create manually — add a new contact with name, email, and phone
From face detection — when Kizu's AI detects a face, you can create or link a contact
From Kizu invites — when someone accepts your Kizu invite, they appear as a contact
Finding Photos of Someone
Tap any contact to see all photos they appear in. Kizu's AI automatically groups photos by face, so once a person is tagged, you can find every photo of them instantly.
