Organize photos, documents, and more with hierarchical folders.
Folders provide a hierarchical way to organize your content, similar to folders on your computer. Use folders when you need more structure than albums provide.
Creating Folders
Go to the Folders tab
Tap the + button
Enter a folder name
Optionally, select a parent folder to create nested folders
Organizing with Folders
Folders support nesting, so you can create structures like:
Family > Kids > Birthday Parties
Travel > 2024 > Italy > Rome
Work > Projects > Website Redesign
What Can Go in a Folder
Folders can contain a mix of content types:
Albums — Photo and video albums
Documents — Create and edit text notes (great for recipes, stories, or family history)
Spreadsheets — Create simple lists and tables
Photos & Videos — Individual media files
Nested Folders — Folders within folders for deeper organization
Drag and drop items within a folder to reorder them. Breadcrumb navigation at the top shows your current path so you can easily navigate back up.
Sharing Folders
Like albums, folders can be shared with circles. When you share a folder, all content within it becomes visible to circle members.
